SIGNING OF MERCHANDISE BY PLAYERS AND COACHES

Due to the excessive amount of merchandise being received for signing by players we have adopted a new club policy to streamline this procedure.  We are no longer able to accept individual items unless for a charity or specific event which will need to outlined on official letterhead.

Goods sent to the Sea Eagles that don't meet this criteria will be returned to the owner unsigned.

We will however during the course of season 2009 have various times when players will be available to sign individual items for supporters at group signing sessions so please check website for details as they become available.

SEA EAGLES - DONATION AND PLAYER APPEARANCE POLICY

The Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles Ltd, is committed to offering it’s support to charitable projects and fundraising activities where possible, with particular focus on those organisations based on the Northern Beaches.

Due to the overwhelming demand that the Sea Eagles receive for donations and player appearances, it is not always possible to accommodate all requests for assistance.

We are typically unable to contribute cash donations to organisations, but are happy to try and provide memorabilia.

All requests for donations to any charitable or not-for-profit organisation, must be submitted in writing, on original organisation letterhead and be received no less than 6 weeks prior to the event. Faxed, email or phoned requests will not be considered.

Your letter should include the following:
- The date of your event
- An explanation of how the proceeds will be used
- A contact person and phone number
- The address where the donation might be sent.

All requests will be responded to, whether successful or not, by the event date. If you haven’t heard back from us, we are still working on your request. Once confirmation that a donation is to be made or not, we will contact you, so please be patient.

If your request for a donation has been unsuccessful, the Sea Eagles may offer you the opportunity to purchase memorabilia at a reduced retail price.

If a for-profit business or other group is running a fundraising event and donating the proceeds to a charitable organisation, a letter on the charity’s letterhead must accompany the donation request.

Donated merchandise or product purchased at reduced retail price can not be re-sold for any individual’s profit, these products can only be utilised for the purpose as stated in your request letter.

In order to assist the greatest number of organisations, the Sea Eagles will only consider one donation request per organisation each calendar year.

The decision whether to make a donation is at the sole discretion of the Sea Eagles Rugby League Club.

The Sea Eagles do not accept merchandise for the purpose of autographing for charity or otherwise, outside of these guidelines. The Sea Eagles players and officials are happy to sign product for any persons at organised open training sessions or other public appearances.  Items received by the Sea Eagles will be returned to the sender. We can not be held responsible for items sent to us that are lost or damaged.

DONATIONS REQUEST GUIDELINES

To assist in the determination of products to be donated or offered to charitable organisations the following criteria is to be followed.

Charitable organisations are to be classed into differing levels, with preference being given to:

- Rugby League Clubs from the Northern Beaches.
- Charitable organisations from the Northern Beaches.
- Educational organisations from the Northern Beaches.
- Other Charitable or not for profit organisations.

NOTE: Educational organisations who actively encourage Rugby League on the Northern Beaches and welcome our development team will be offered assistance before those who do not.

The Sea Eagles will either donate or offer for purchase at a reduced retail price one of the following products:

Signed Jersey - First Grade Squad - Hand Signed
Signed Jersey - One Player - Hand Signed
Signed T-Shirt - First Grade Squad - Hand Signed
Signed Football - First Grade Squad - Printed signature
Signed Team Photo - One Player - Captain

All decisions made by the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles Ltd are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
