NumberWorks’nWords has more than 20 successful years of providing tuition, and the Brookvale centre, which opened in 2005, is continuing this tradition. Specialising in Maths and English tuition, the centre is owned and managed by Adam Wiseman, who has been working at NumberWorks’nWords centres since 1999. Adam strongly believes that face to face teaching is the most important part of the learning process. “Having positive interaction between tutors and students, combined with our comprehensive computer programs gives a solid platform to assist students in reaching their potential.”

Students at NumberWorks’nWords are encouraged, guided, corrected and most importantly – taught! “At NumberWorks’nWords, we make learning an enjoyable experience and we spend a lot of time ensuring that our tutors and students develop a good working relationship. Once that is achieved, our students work hard during our lessons not because they have to but because they want to. That is the important difference. We put in a BIG effort to motivate them and help them work towards their potential.”

NumberWorks’nWords caters to students from K – 10 at all ability levels. Students work on programs that are appropriate to their needs and at their own pace. Students at NumberWorks’nWords are constantly encouraged and challenged to achieve higher goals. “All students need to be motivated to varying degrees but we are also mindful that great achievements start with small steps initially. Gentle nurturing is
more our style.”
